'Painting Our Mother' Exhibition - March 2016
Following on from the 'Rebirth' Exhibition at the Greenspace Gallery in Carmarthen, I was invited back for the following exhibition entitled 'Painting Our Mother'.
This exhibition includes not only portrait paintings as the title may suggest, but also incorporates interpretations of Motherhood, Mother Earth & Motherly emotions.
My chicken sculptures have remained at the gallery, fitting in with the theme as 'Mother Hens'. They now have the addition of some Stone Art eggs, made specially for the exhibition. Also on display are two mixed media canvases entitled 'Desert' & 'Corrosion', depicting my response to the Mother Earth element of the exhibition
